Been writing a few songs to some beats lately. Unfortunately dont have a mic or studio equipment but I'll prolly hit up my buddys place. You don't have to read them all, just give some feedback on what you do read

Just Stop

quote me on it, when i tell u that u need to stop
believe it ok, half these cats actually believe they hot
im tactically releasing shots, smackin u mcs for props
and snatchin up ur piece to rock, you too weak to box
you nerdy muthafuckas, worthless surburb dwellers
shut the mic off cause you aint got shit to tell us
u got everything in life tryna act rebellious
spit ur little garbage, "look at what im rappin fellas"
actin like they got heat, all they doins cappin pellets
actin like they really baggin crack in packs to sell it
im like david galleger let the hammer crack your melon
wackass muthafuckas actin like u actually felons
this game is a quarter now im flippin to the other side
ur corporate label tell u how u really oughta rhyme
the north to the west to the east to the southern kind
the same shit on every track, never switchin up the lines

hiphop was taken over by a corporate scheme
to turn everything thats real into profits and means
revolution of the system was a possible dream
but now its over thanx to those who woulda lost everything
u spit it how u live it, your little life is nonexistant
those who own you made your gimmick for a paid percentage
corporate representatives molded your image
a general image of what they think your people represented
they the landlord you a tentant, they the owner you a peasant
you the people, they the senate, cause they own it, you just rent it
talkin shit about the game spittin how its fake
sittin on your comp talkin aliens and outerspace
i delete your cool edit pro you little powderface
i catch u at ur daddys mansions ill pound ur face
their alternative is worse than it, its weaker than shit
so its not just your mom and dad who think u should quit

manuever through the game, like a bullet to ur brain
breakin through the path goin straight through to the main
im staff infection muthafucka, takin down ya rosta
im takin over stations like the people of oaxaca
they turned the revolution into purchasin the products
from breakas to consumers, gold chains and watches
they stopped the revolution so i turn on these imposters
gucci, prada, sponsoring the murderin of cultures
monolithic hegemonic culture is the base
in iraq they wipe out the ruins of an ancient race
theyll build a mall overneath the ruins of babylon
they replaced 50 over ruins of battle songs
coke cola motorola sponsorin the pilgrimage
halliburton, bechtel, sponsorin the pillagin
i listen to that shit that will bump the system
but what about that shit that says fuck the system

the south is rising

they complain about the massive influx of mexicans
givin aid to the same government oppressing them
while nafta is part of the same foreign policy
that turns economies into corporate colonies
raped the indigenous and stole their land
this is the expansion of a corporate brand
no jobs in sight, take flight for life
or u can stand like chiapas and fight for life
come to america looking for a wage
it ends up the same, they end up as slaves
we swept em from the land right beneath their feet
all their businesses are gone so they cant compete
they dont even mention our foreign interventions
central americans were murdered by our henchmen
u wanna talk takin over lets look at Baja
pour a little liquor for the people of oaxaca

Hook
the south is comin up, movin through the border
try to make food, clothes, shelter, and water
but fuck that, we take all the power for the people
we all rulers now, nobodys illegal
stand on a land that drips in blood
organize together, no power is above
we global citizens, fuck the racist laws
once we see this, we unite for the cause

zapatistas, strapped with heatas, takin a stand
while the minutemen embody the ideals of the klan
killing off the immigrants as subhuman citizens
try to make a livin, rape and imprison em
the u.s. working class, divisions that you split in it
your profits skyrocket, its only why u let em in
starvin on pennies, no government benefits
you claim they takin over out of patriotic ignorance
latin america where the people are displaced
dictatorships created in the united states
bustin unions, cover up abuses with a smiley face
sweatshop economy where workers die in climbing rates
their territory raped in 1848
this whole debate is based on ignorance and hate
they dont get shit but they deserve to take
now take to the streets, your reality you make

Hook
the south is comin up, movin through the border
try to make food, clothes, shelter, and water
but fuck that, we take all the power for the people
we all rulers now, nobodys illegal
stand on a land that drips in blood
organize together, no power is above
we global citizens, fuck the racist laws
once we see this, we unite for the cause

workers black white and brown tryna find a reason why and how
benefits are gone, wage rate is climbing down
look around, they blame on these migrants to our ground
our focus off the boss, everybody fightin now
cause when u striking out, thats when they strike you down
immigrants are pulled in for the purpose of reducing
workers in the union, and further they reducing
wages even further, while they increase the producing
a fair wage for immigrants would stop this process
it maxes out their profits, look at the bosses
the migrant worker tryna feed his kids is not the reason
corporate greediness got the working class bleeding
from mexico to china its a virus of the system
and the billions of people on this planet are the victims
livin in this prison of capitalism
our brothers are through class, not nationalism

Hook
the south is comin up, movin through the border
try to make food, clothes, shelter, and water

but fuck that, we take all the power for the people
we all rulers now, nobodys illegal
stand on a land that drips in blood
organize together, no power is above
we global citizens, fuck the racist laws
once we see this, we unite for the cause

the opium

god i hit u with the desert eagle when i see u
jesus aint my leader, nor the leader of the people
you can catchin me layin on the roof of the cathedral
theres no such thing as evil, hit the reverend and the priest too
wheres this little path that they claim they try to lead to
exploited by the powers and they tell u to be peaceful
priests wipin fecal matter off of they dicks
actin like a baby cradle rockin these kids
im like a can opener, offin they lids
when i take em out i put a foot on top of they ribs
so when i enter in they church everyone turns around
just my presence is enough to burn it to the ground
like anarchists in the 30s, im prepared to wet em up
im not a satanist or any superstituous fuck
give it up, the mental bonds that holdin you back
sedated and degraded, by the holiest cats

in Africa, they given children missionary Bibles
so they can fuck em in the ass missionary style
apparently food and charity are just a rarity
its either God's punishment or God doesnt care for me
either way its not a false god thats the problem
economic exploitation has the people starvin
and you backin up the wealthy reciting your verses
but you a clever wordsmith when you preaching in the churches
all your followers are blind so they cant see that you a merchant
herdin in the sheep but i disperse em with my verses
deep inside your heart you really think that they are worthless
tellin em that they should find God as a purpose
and this goes to all religions with their contradictions
struggle for the afterlife for a pot to piss in
they preachin tolerance but really they in competition
to eliminate each other, i just say good riddance

the Bible was compiled, written by the masters
reciting holy verses as they hit you with them lashes
prepare the troops for slaughter, bathe in holy water
the bodies of the daughters, sons, mothers, and fathers
while the mass murderers sanctify religious martys
send their followers to die like they cattle fodder
behind the rhetoric you find economic dogma
the intifada of the palestinians jihada
is a call to fight the occupation of the armada
as they claim the conflict is religious holy war
its a fight between the rich and the poor for more
suicidal bombs are not a part of Islam
it was created by conditions that were forced upon
as the israeli air force is steady droppin bombs
i dont believe in god, the bible, or the quran
i believe in the oppressed cause together we strong

everybodys talking (about revolution)

everybodys talkin about glocks and shotties poppin
the life we live is survival, u know its not an option
them dudes on the corner got it poppin for the profit
counting up the rocks when they got the stock in
communities are ruined, so the people get to coppin
poppie, corporate investors got the stocks in
the government is hustlin and then they move the cops in
a 9 to 5 or 6 by 9 either way we locked in
common people forced to robbin cause they all starvin
three people in the house, everybody got a job but
they still struggle over meals, on the kitchen table sobbin
they still struggle over bills, this is what the market causes
and the media blames nobody for the problems
except you, they relay the logic of the bosses
and if you gotta live man i aint knockin needs
the corporate industry murders thousands over greed
they dont loose a wink of sleep cause they dont see em bleed
employ us all for pennies, its our labor which they feed
so when we sellin rocks we the scapegoats of the system
we got no choice but to sell just to make a livin
they go at us, not the ones on top of the prism
over 2.2 mil are locked in the prisons
man you best acknowledge it, its more than rubberbands
its all geopolitics, democrats republicans
follow foreign policy of corporate governance
the narcodollars flood the system, this is real hustlin
the nemesis is those who plan to take away the benefits
even though the subsidies to corporations endlessness
focus on the killas not the socialist guerillas
but major corporations makin billions in the pillage
and whats the difference between suicidal bomb attacks
and the shock and awe of military when we drop em on Iraq
they destroy dissent through the covert COINTEL
you know it well, free speech is just a quote to sell
a corporate lie at best, they monopolize the press
when you sorting through the mess you find profits are success
in the land of opportunity, soon youll see the truth discreet
private profit dominates not belief in human needs
bottom organizing is what workers truly need
when we free ourselves, is the only way we truly free
fuck the leaders, buck the heaters, we dont need an army
we do for self dont need no help, we dont need a party
police, unemployment, just a few things they attack you with
religion and t.v. just a few things they distract you with
we dont the need the government, we dont need the church
read to self-educate, mental freedom's needed first
tech rounds that we squeeze and burst, just increase the hurt
if we change the aim direction then well really bleed em worse

and everybody talkin about revolution
its more than just shootin, its more than just music
revolution is a process that we undergo
take our labor for ourselves, all the hungry know
and everybody talkin about revolution
its more than just shootin, its more than just music
the best government is the one that governs no
and the best corporation is the one thats gonna go

Street's Asylum (only have the first verse)

this is a call for the mothers, brothers, and sisters
to take up arms its time to stop being victims
slanging rocks on the corner, and they try to convict em
but when they look for who to blame, its pointed back at the system
the street is an asylum to keep us contained
redlining, gentrifying, got the people in chains
but as long as blood continues straight bleedin through my veins
i will put it to u muthafuckas each and everyday
on the same sidewalks where we herded in a pack
theres blood flowin through the streets in each and every crack
but they locked you in this competition, conflict and division
destroyed freedom fighters with the drugs that they had shipped in

Thanx. Unfortunately no, I used to record back in the day but took a break for a while. My buddy has all the equipment but doesn't have his mic anymore so hopefully when I can get one I can use his little home studio which usually has great quality. I need to get my delivery game back on point too.

Quote
these are wicked.

when and if you decide to record them or perfom them, get some killer beats..and i mean crazy ones.
i find that a lot of intelligent rappers with amazing content ruin their songs with shitty beats, or the ones that generally sound the same..

i quite like the rhymes though, make sure you post the rest of the one you're still working on.

Thanx. I already wrote these to beats, I'm not an internet "textcee" but have always written to music and recorded. Just not able to at the moment unless I want to ruin the songs with a 20$ mic using cool edit pro. Most the beats are good but there's one or two that I'm thinking may be a little too underground but its still a good beat at least to me.

Just no crazy Swizz folk beats, I'm not really into yodeling from the top of a snow covered mountain in a music video surrounded by goats. Smiley

But really though lets make something happen, I'm sick of fucking bullshit soundclick beats and wack producers around my way mixing in some keyboard synths and weak drum kits to make "crunk" beats.

Hahah well my style of beats is weird, too. I'm a lot into dramatic orchestra shut, I'm kind of disappointed in myself for not being able to get raw things done.
Well, I'm in the process of making my equipment work again. Should be soon. Then I will sho people.

A track I just recently wrote:

Long Road Ahead

its the long road ahead, you get photos with the Feds
while im posing for the cops with a close up to my head
they broke into my bedroom, totin pokin at my head
told me dont resist while they hopin that i did
went through trial, judge and jury handed me a bid
so im lookin out the window while im sittin on my bed
contemplating revolution with the system dead
went into the library, every book i read
not the novels or the bibles but the knowledge that was vital
load it in my mind like a cartridge in a rifle
then spread it through the prison like AIDS in the 80s
but i was anti-government, the government aint make me
they let me out, they unleashed a beast onto the streets
takin out the system piece by piece until theres peace
and thats the hope of every rebel plan and every man
the peace has come, the struggle won, the justice has already came

the long road ahead is not paved with gold
we have to pay in blood and sweat to attain our goals
our goal is to liberate ourselves, we can make it whole
revolution of the working class will break the mold
most wanna organize but too afraid to go
most wanna rise to make the system fold
they seen the people locked for tryin to escape the hole
but the long road ahead is not paved with gold

the hood dont need a helping hand, overthrow the wealthy man
make developed plans, create developed land
they look at as u as felons man, do for self and stand
stop makin money for the government by sellin grams
rebel against the system, u know for a fact
even though they act like it aint really holdin u back
they blame it on the people not the economic bias
like they said it was the communists who really causing riots
even though the communists were anybody fighting
make villians through the media to justify they violence
any action by the state is considered self defense
regardless of the evidence, they know that it is prevalent
for the fbi to kill any group that never sits
for the cia to kill anyone that represents
for the cops to shoot black kids for the hell of it
but the bottom line is all of these are thought benevolent

afghanistan, iraq invasions, racist accusations
what stands behind the logic is an economic basis
what u thought democracy was really occupation
somebody has to pay for destruction of these nations
reconstruction of these nations done by U.S. corporations
makin billions in profits when we murder populations
here at home we stand alone to break the fear condoned
by the government when the military really knows
that they got monopoly of terroristic goals
and the cia assassinates but really littles known
by the patriotic robots, intelligent and uniformed
saddam was our puppet up until the desert storm
and al-queda was created, further given our support
in Soviet Afghanistan, they held down our fort
this is just a little knowledge, thats where it begins
cause once the people know thats the start of the end

monopoly

we wastin too much energy on fruitless mcs
they just blowin in the wind, nah they shoot in the breeze
all the money that they spend on them studio frees
could be spent on real muthafuckas truly in need
but they marketing the game with a target in they aim
create a gimmick, different rappers, partially the same
entertainment industry, monopolizing profit
a couple corporations are controlling the concoction
caution when you listen to the radio stations
they playing shit about gun spraying and banging
but really they goal is for killin the mold
the revolution close but they filled it with holes
replace militant flows with bitches, sixes, and hoes
so the underclass is mimmicking the image you sold
the radio shows, get paid to play off the flows
generic and apparent all they got is the dough
only four corporations are controlling entertainment
rappers go in debt and they dont call it enslavement
you thinkin the label is an independent entity
its just another peg under universal company
vivendi corporation given public subsidies
so when you blame the rappers for the problems of this country
the wealthy and the white direct the content that they wantin
and these massive corporations that you indirectly fundin
you blaming the pods but i go straight at the root
cause only then is when we can arrive at the truth
rap is just a scapegoat that they add to the list
cause all the problems emulate are capitalist
so next time bill o rielly say hiphops the source of violence
put the facts up in his face and tell that muthafucka silent
we need to take control of creative soul we made in flow
dont sign away your soul for promises that they had told

its a whole monopoly, not talkin bout the game
hmm well in fact im really talkin bout the game
i know these punk fuckas not talkin out they frame
beef was once conflict, now a marketing exchange
its a whole monopoly, not talkin bout the game
hmm well in fact im really talkin bout the game
i know these punk fuckas not talkin out they frame
beef was once conflict, now a marketing exchange

Mobile-friendly version Immortal Technique Biography

Born Felipe Andres Coronel on the 19th of February 1978, hip-hop artist Immortal Technique is a controversial figure in the U.S. His songs speak of the need for social justice and equality among all races, with special emphasis on the people of color or Latin Americans, but they also cover topics such as the fight against unfair imprisonments or militarism and many others.

His biography is hence quite intriguing, to say the least, and, just like the best anti aging cream is probably going to be lingering over the shelves of all cosmetic stores for many years to come, Immortal Technique’s songs are going to remain hot, fresh and sought after for a really long time. Due to the fact they speak about topics which are to be considered taboos, his lyrics continue to be listened to with the exterior shutters down in most homes.

Immortal technique was born in Peru, in El Hospital Militar de Lima; several years later, his family moved to America in order to escape the harsh living conditions in Peru. Even though they could not afford to buy any terrain a vendre there, they managed to move to Harlem in the ‘80s. Immortal Technique went to Hunter High School, but just like a hip replacement recall is never of good omen, his grades and behavior weren’t any good during high school either. He was the school bully, he harassed other students and he was not afraid to get involved in scandals with drug dealers from around the area. And while his interactions with these drug dealers were not as numerous as used cars in Phoenix are, they still managed to leave an ugly mark on his biography.

Plus, his graffiti did not actually resemble any Dreamweaver templates, but he was famous for his controversial acts of vandalism. His violence against others almost got him expelled in 1996, but he somehow managed to finish high school and even attend college at Pennsylvania State University. This time, his college experience only lasted for two years; he was then charged and convicted and he was eventually imprisoned in Pennsylvania.

In prison, just like a SEO San Antonio company would focus on booting a web site’s ranking, Immortal Technique also focused on boosting his own social ranking. He began studying the policy of religious history, and, finding the inspiration he needed, he began putting his thoughts in lyrics. In 1999 he was paroled and, even though he was first considered some sort of Agen Bola, as no one had heard of him at first, he began to attend freestyle battles he started winning.

From there on, his career started to bloom, as he gave birth to albums such as “Revolutionary Vol 1” in 2002, “Revolutionary Vol 2” in 2004 and “Revolutionary Vol 3” in 2008. He also became a political activist and started to sing about political injustice (check out his opinion on the imprisonment of Mumia Abu-Jamal or the songs on George W. Bush). Despite of the fact that his albums might not have gotten the type of positive reviews African mango reviews are usually comprised of, this has not stopped him from getting involved in future projects, including an important film collaboration. He might not approve the work of the CNA Financial Corporation, but we all need to eat, right?

Recently I've been in the market for used cars. Which I'm sure many of you know how long that process can take. Having to go from dealer to dealer and look at one car after another. What a painstaking process! Its a good thing I don't have to take a personality test after the whole process. I'm sure I'd have some pretty skewed results. After finally settling down and buying a new Audi A4, I found out I had a bigger problem on my hands. Where am I gonna park the car during winter? I decided I had to contact a local contractor and get remodeling estimates to redo our garage which had been having problems with leaks all last winter. After getting some rather expensive estimates back from contractors our family finally decided to move to a different area of New York, we took a look at jamestown ny homes which was recommended by a close friend of mine. Have you ever just had that feeling after looking at a town? You just knew it was the one. Well thankfully we had a lot of wonderful homes to look at that were priced perfectly. We eventually decided to go with a home with a nice garage for the new car, a gym witih a full pull up bar, and best of all my wife could stop taking her proactol and finally begin to use our at home gym!

If during your trip you make it out to England be sure to say "Hi!" to our friends that is a wedding photographer york. They do an exceptional job and we recommend them to everyone that we know!
When overlooking your home don't forget the key essentials to tie in the whole room and complete it altogether, such as a POS software to manage your point of sale units. Making the perfect home for everyone in your family is doable with the right budget. Start by heading to auction sites to see what type of homes are currently on the market and the prices. Auction sites provide a medium to determine market value of homes in the are that you are looking at. If traveling internationally and looking at homes in Drakensberg then be sure to look online for Drakensberg accommodation. Drakensbergs accomodations often come with coffee machine in your room as well! For us caffeine lovers, you know how important that is when traveling in a new city. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in be sure to click here for more info on the latest careers.
What often begins with a worldwide traveling excursion often ends in an unknown city. If you are planning on traveling to far away places its best to do your research on them before venturing out. Planning how to pack, and what to bring with you from the beginning can make the difference altogether. Planning on which handbag to take is crucial to your happiness. Now I know you are probably thinking that's trivial, although choosing the right handbag to take with you on a lengthy trip around the world is of the utmost importance. Make sure that you take as little as possibly needed on the trip. You don't want to lug around suitcases, and unnecessary stuff throughout the world. It'll weigh down on your trip, no pun intended.
The History and Growth of Rap Music

If you are a music enthusiast, then it is very likely that you have come across a genre of music called rap music. Rap music is area that has very clear distinguishing features most notably the rapid and rhythmic chanting of the lyrics perfectly timed to the beat and musical accompaniment that forms the base of the song. Rap music traces its roots to the development of the hiphop subculture which predominantly carries four complementary musical styles namely: rapping, dancing and in particular break dancing, scratching or more popularity known as DJing, and graffiti writing which others dub as vandalism. Another sub-element of this genre is beat-boxing which also features heavily in the repertoire of many rap artists. If you thought this was an easy musical genre to characterize, then you were poorly informed: consider, many research papers and doctoral dissertations have been written on the subject of rap music and its accompanying stylistic elements.

The history of rap music, or hip-hop music, is composed of a series of rapid development phases that have all culminated in the popular rap versions of today. Before rap music took off in the 1990s, it was predominantly referred to as disco rap in the late 1970s. The three rappers who had a hand in coining the term “rap music” were DJ Hollywood, Lovebug Starski, and Keith Cowboy, the last one being officially credited with the term hip-hop. Rap music original began with improvisations and freestyle singing to add an element of unpredictability to the songs in parties and other gatherings. Even in the 1960s to 1970s, the initial elements of rap music where already sown in urban subcultures particularly in New York City where adhoc performances in the streets led to a coalescing of influences in the wake of the Civil Rights era. Like the iPhone 5 release date, it had a slow and steady rise building into an explosion of creativity and style that has made it into what it has become today.

At this very early stage of rap development, it was particularly tied to emcee-ing more than it was associated to any specific song. It predominantly tied songs together as an adlib in between. It was born out of the creative inputs of DJs who had to work with self-imposed musical constraints such as the 4/4 time beat and sampling or sequencing sections of other songs to create a smooth flow of uninterrupted musical stimuli. These were eventually married with electronic equipment such as drums and synthesizers, and ultimate melodies to give it that bite and identity. In a sense, rap music artists were basically like a video game designer who had to figure out each artistic component at every turn until it developed into a more coherent musical genre that became the rap music we know today.

The first recorded version of rap music came alive in the early 1980s when DJs decided to make records out of their freestyle MCing. This necessitated the documentation of song lyrics so they do not change during each and every rendition. The age of the stromanbieter for rap music was gone paving the way for more organized chaos. Still, the freestyle and improvisation element remained a part of many DJ interludes as the song goes through certain sections that did not require too much rap singing.

Likewise, as a consequence of the hip-hop records, the influence of rap began to spread faster than ever before. Artists no longer had to travel far to get their music heard. Now, records from New York City and Philadelphia can be reproduced and transported to cities like Los Angeles, New Orleans, Dallas, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Seattle among others for people to appreciate and enjoy. This was primarily the reason for rap music’s rapid growth. Like Christmas mini lights, cities formed the nodes through which rap music would spread to other parts of the country. From small beginnings to grand achievements, the birth certificate translation to true stardom took a matter of years for rap music to be realized. Since then, its take-off and rise has been meteoric.

In this regard, it is almost impossible to talk about rap music but not discuss the golden age of rap. This was the era from the late 1980s to the mid 1990s when rap grew at an astounding rate fueled by the creative contributions of many artists from all over the continental United States and in many parts of the world. The primary trait of the Golden Age or Rap was that it was an almost unbroken wave of transformative music with every single pushing the boundaries of the genre. From this age and in the succeeding Gansta Rap age came names like Run-D.M.C., Dr. Dre, Ice T, MC Hammer, The Wu-tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, and The Notorious B.I.G. among others. The list of names can virtually fill a Sharepoint Hive without any problems.

According to social studies published in 2005, teenagers and children are more familiar with hip-hop and rap music more than any other musical genre. Up to 65% of all children from ages 8 to 18 hear hip-hop music on a daily basis, making it their routinary keratin hair treatment session, almost to the point that it has become an intrinsic part of their lives. With the diversification of the genre to include the more stylish R&B or rhythm and blues, it is not difficult to explain how rap music has continued to pervade radio station, TV and movie song line-ups. The marriage of rap and jazz which paved the way for R&B is itself a phenomenon that warrants all sorts of social analysis.

And with its very strong following, it is safe to say that rap music is here to stay. Years from now, when you open your TV on a bright Saturday morning, there’s a big chance you would be watching the next stage in the evolution of rap music, and there’s an even better chance you would be dancing or singing to that tune.
