Crysis is ok.

CoD4, just like he said. Is like a drug.

Crysis was just way over-hyped.

I can't wait for Rainbow Six 2 man, they gotta put some bomb ass pistols in so I can walk around owning people with something other than the Raging Bull rofl.

you peep that link i put up^ where it has the new weapons in addition to all the old ones? I think they also did some serious work balancing out the weapons this time around specially with the shotguns and pistols. Damn these fucking games man they're ruining my social life lol.

Rainbow Vegas 2 Single-player Hands-on
The life of a bachelor in terrorist-filled streets.

by Nate Ahearn

February 25, 2008 - Call me old school, but I'm one of those gamers who can't begin playing a triple-A title in anything but single-player mode. I have to get through the entire solo campaign before I even think about scratching the surface of any adversarial or cooperative multiplayer. There's something about the experience of being completely engrossed in a storyline that can't be matched when someone else's voice is constantly ringing through my head. Just recently we had the opportunity to spend some time with the new single-player campaign for Rainbow Six Vegas 2. The story is broader, spanning more locations and featuring a new team of Rainbow operatives from what we saw in Vegas 1.

One thing should be known before reading this preview: this is the last Rainbow game to be set in Las Vegas. Ubisoft Montreal has gone on record as saying that the storyline from the first game will be wrapped up once the sun sets on Vegas 2. That means that we'll be finding out about the events leading up to the terrorist takeover in Sin City (more Mexico missions!), we'll get some backstory on why Gabriel decided to stab his teammates in the back and work alongside the terrorist Irena, and we'll help Logan and company exact some sweet, sweet revenge.

To be honest, the biggest draw of the single-player campaign in Vegas 2 is the story that we just talked about. While there are gameplay additions and tweaks in the game, those who worked through the first will find that Vegas' core has remained unchanged. Likely the largest change is the inclusion of a sprint button. Much like Call of Duty 4 before it Rainbow Six Vegas 2 now allows you to dart away from grenades or from one piece of cover to the next by holding the left bumper. There's a limit to how long you can run and Ubisoft Montreal has said that they purposely kept the sprint duration to a minimum so people don't overuse it.

Due to the new sprint functionality being tossed into the mix the tactical radar has been bumped to the back button. Because of that it's slightly less convenient to bring up your tactical radar than it used to be. Now you'll have to decide how to map your vision modes, your tactical radar, and the sprint button onto the back, right bumper, and left bumper buttons. Any way you slice it, something is going to have to be relegated to the back button.

Next up is the new ACES system which works in tandem with the leveling system that most will remember from the multiplayer modes in the previous game. Essentially you can unlock new weapons and equipment by performing specific actions. For instance, killing an enemy from afar will get you three points, whereas killing a baddy while blinded might get you ten. As you progress you'll earn XP bonuses to go along with your fancy new gear.

The mission that we played through was called "Old Vegas" and took place on a level known as "Rooftops." The stage takes place in the second act of the overarching story and featured both indoor and outdoor settings. The outdoor portions featured multi-tier level design with snipers raining fire down on us as ground troops steadily encroached on our position. There were plenty of instances where we were able to use the squad commands such as breach and clear or gassing a room full of baddies. The only real difference to the squad dynamic is that you and your Rainbow brethren now share a stockpile of items rather than having an unlimited supply as you did in the first Vegas.

As you can see, the second Rainbow Six Vegas will be very similar to the original in regard to the single-player gameplay. Not to say that it's going to be a disappointment to those who loved the first, you'll still get to wrap up the cliffhanger storyline after all, but it's just that the solo experience wasn't the focus of development. Clearly more time was spent on the multiplayer (which we've already previewed) and refining a more streamlined co-op mode which we'll be previewing next week.

Keep checking IGN.com as our coverage of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 continues up until its launch on March 18.

Review: What Happens In Vegas 2...Is Totally Awesome
Review by Cameron Lewis | 03/18/2008 | 12:16:06 PM PST

The late, great Elvis Presley once sang that in order to survive in Vegas, all you needed was "a strong heart and a nerve of steel." Of course, the King never had to shoot it out with terrorists but when it comes to the action packed Rainbow Six Vegas 2, his words still ring true anyway. So join us as we return to the city of sin to put our hearts and nerve to the ultimate test, Rainbow Six-style!

Letting an enemy get this close to you isn't the best idea; that scope's there for a reason, you know?
With its quick pace, memorable locations, and smooth controls, the original Rainbow Six: Vegas helped revive the longstanding tactical shooter franchise. While the sequel Vegas 2 doesn't shake things up as much as its predecessor, but it's still got enough glitz and glamour to eat up large chunks of your free time.

Deep Cover

As I said, Vegas 2 doesn't veer that far off the beaten path forged by the first Vegas title. Not much has changed gameplay-wise, which is a good thing for battle hardened vets who fought their way through the first title. You're still cast as a highly trained anti-terrorist specialist who roams around with his squadmates, picking of evildoers with an impressive array of firepower. You still rely on cover, blind-fire to distract opponents and peek out for the well-executed pin-point precision shot. You also command a squad of highly trained operatives as you clear rooms and secure objectives.

Every kill rewards you with XP but how you kill determines what bonus points you earn in three A.C.E.S. categories.
Thankfully, the controls, which were tight and intuitive in the first installment, haven't changed much. Controlling your own character is a breeze and commanding your two AI companions quickly becomes second nature. Center your reticule on a patch of ground, an objective, or a closed door, and a simple button tap sends them on their context-sensitive way, ready to go loud or breach-and-clear at your urging. They're not perfect: sometimes they seem to think they're safely behind cover even as bullets streak into them by the dozen, and asking one to toss grenade can be tantamount to suicide under most circumstances, but they pull their weight, effective follow orders, and only very rarely get stuck on corners or each other.

Bright Lights, Sin City

Of course, the gameplay is only half the equation here in Vegas 2: the rest is made up by the game's exciting and dynamic setting. From the saturated purples of a night club's decor to the themed booths of the convention center, Las Vegas once again proves to be a rich and satisfying playground to explore. Unfortunately, the six main missions are still disjointed hops between discrete engagement zones, which dampens the impact of the overall world. The game also relies heavily on cheesy invisible script triggers that makes the world feel like a series of jack-in-the-box showdowns, but such complaints are softened by an increased quantity of assault pointsdoors, skylights, bay windows, etc.that allows for more tactical creativity.

Recruit a human compatriot for co-op, and this tactical flexibility makes each detailed environment a joy to play through multiple times. Sadly, only two players can take on the main campaign and only the host can command A.I. squadmates, but players can enter and exit at will without interrupting their friends' progress. The game could have used more checkpoints so that players who don't survive firefights aren't needlessly punished but story elements no longer mysteriously disappear when you head online and every narrow victory and harrowing defeat is more meaningful and memorable as a shared combat experience.

Guns and Ammo

Vegas 2 adds another potent layer to its already solid replayability with an engaging reward system that bestows experience points whether you're ventilating some trash-talker online, or carving a path through twelve flawed terrorist hunt levels that support up to four co-op players even as they spawn terrorists out of thin air. As you make your way through 22 ranks, from Recruit to Sergeant to Elite, you'll unlock wearable equipment, from simple balaclavas and helmets to brawny assault armor. You'll have to be careful how you dress, though, since improved protection means decreased mobility.

What's more, kills can also count toward 'A.C.E.S.' rewards specific to twenty levels worth of three distinct combat disciplines: Marksman, Close Quarters, and Assault. Score a headshot, kill an opponent from behind, or wax a fool through cover, for example, and you'll rack up points in the appropriate category and earn powerful new weapons. Both progression systems are padded to a certain extent: Every other level of each A.C.E. bestows experience points instead of gear, and too many hard-won ranks give you nothing but new camouflage patterns. Still, there's no denying the addictive pull of working to earn an AK-47 or a particularly slick customizable sniper rifle.

Making the Grade

Unfortunately, the encyclopedic array of firepower can only add so much to a predictable collection of competitive multiplayer modes. Whether you're hunting a team leader, securing satellite dishes, planting bombs, or just tearing around in deathmatch with fifteen other people, only the stylish scenery differentiates the experience from equally effective variations found elsewhere. Many of the map designs are remarkably well-tuned, forcing almost constant movement just to survive, but what this series urgently needs to stand out in this particularly crowded field is an inventive new mode.

When you come right down to it, though, Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 succeeds thanks to its amazing co-op, carefully balanced gameplay and memorable setting. Sure, there are some aggravating scripting and design issues present but much like the city it's set in, Vegas 2's pleasure outweighs the pain.

PROS: Solid control, increased tactical options and challenging co-op equals an addictive and satisfying experience.
CONS: Infuriating checkpoint placement; lame reliance on obvious script triggers; only two player co-op for main campaign.

The main points is that it's not a huge leap foward in terms of graphics and overall feel but its not an expansion either. Overall tons of new guns, maps and a bunch of Multiplayer modes should add the same replay value of other games like COD4.

Still Ubisoft needs to do a add-on for this game to allow 4 player co-op like Vegas 1 instead of just 2 human characters and 2 AI bots. <-- Probably my biggest disappointment, but anyways i'll have this shit when i get out of work.

Yo this game is pretty fuckin fun if you enjoyed the first one. Yes the reviews are pretty much on point, it's not really anything special graphically specially the environments but its a bit more improved. Yes the 4player co-op is greatly missed cause the 2 AI controlled players are still as stupid (I hope they some how incor. The new A.C.E.S. is a great addition for unlocking new weapons as you complete challenges by the way you kill your opponents. The multiplayer is the crack just like COD4(although no where near as nice graphically) definitely tons of fun.

Mobile-friendly version Immortal Technique Biography

Born Felipe Andres Coronel on the 19th of February 1978, hip-hop artist Immortal Technique is a controversial figure in the U.S. His songs speak of the need for social justice and equality among all races, with special emphasis on the people of color or Latin Americans, but they also cover topics such as the fight against unfair imprisonments or militarism and many others.

His biography is hence quite intriguing, to say the least, and, just like the best anti aging cream is probably going to be lingering over the shelves of all cosmetic stores for many years to come, Immortal Technique’s songs are going to remain hot, fresh and sought after for a really long time. Due to the fact they speak about topics which are to be considered taboos, his lyrics continue to be listened to with the exterior shutters down in most homes.

Immortal technique was born in Peru, in El Hospital Militar de Lima; several years later, his family moved to America in order to escape the harsh living conditions in Peru. Even though they could not afford to buy any terrain a vendre there, they managed to move to Harlem in the ‘80s. Immortal Technique went to Hunter High School, but just like a hip replacement recall is never of good omen, his grades and behavior weren’t any good during high school either. He was the school bully, he harassed other students and he was not afraid to get involved in scandals with drug dealers from around the area. And while his interactions with these drug dealers were not as numerous as used cars in Phoenix are, they still managed to leave an ugly mark on his biography.

Plus, his graffiti did not actually resemble any Dreamweaver templates, but he was famous for his controversial acts of vandalism. His violence against others almost got him expelled in 1996, but he somehow managed to finish high school and even attend college at Pennsylvania State University. This time, his college experience only lasted for two years; he was then charged and convicted and he was eventually imprisoned in Pennsylvania.

In prison, just like a SEO San Antonio company would focus on booting a web site’s ranking, Immortal Technique also focused on boosting his own social ranking. He began studying the policy of religious history, and, finding the inspiration he needed, he began putting his thoughts in lyrics. In 1999 he was paroled and, even though he was first considered some sort of Agen Bola, as no one had heard of him at first, he began to attend freestyle battles he started winning.

From there on, his career started to bloom, as he gave birth to albums such as “Revolutionary Vol 1” in 2002, “Revolutionary Vol 2” in 2004 and “Revolutionary Vol 3” in 2008. He also became a political activist and started to sing about political injustice (check out his opinion on the imprisonment of Mumia Abu-Jamal or the songs on George W. Bush). Despite of the fact that his albums might not have gotten the type of positive reviews African mango reviews are usually comprised of, this has not stopped him from getting involved in future projects, including an important film collaboration. He might not approve the work of the CNA Financial Corporation, but we all need to eat, right?

Recently I've been in the market for used cars. Which I'm sure many of you know how long that process can take. Having to go from dealer to dealer and look at one car after another. What a painstaking process! Its a good thing I don't have to take a personality test after the whole process. I'm sure I'd have some pretty skewed results. After finally settling down and buying a new Audi A4, I found out I had a bigger problem on my hands. Where am I gonna park the car during winter? I decided I had to contact a local contractor and get remodeling estimates to redo our garage which had been having problems with leaks all last winter. After getting some rather expensive estimates back from contractors our family finally decided to move to a different area of New York, we took a look at jamestown ny homes which was recommended by a close friend of mine. Have you ever just had that feeling after looking at a town? You just knew it was the one. Well thankfully we had a lot of wonderful homes to look at that were priced perfectly. We eventually decided to go with a home with a nice garage for the new car, a gym witih a full pull up bar, and best of all my wife could stop taking her proactol and finally begin to use our at home gym!

If during your trip you make it out to England be sure to say "Hi!" to our friends that is a wedding photographer york. They do an exceptional job and we recommend them to everyone that we know!
When overlooking your home don't forget the key essentials to tie in the whole room and complete it altogether, such as a POS software to manage your point of sale units. Making the perfect home for everyone in your family is doable with the right budget. Start by heading to auction sites to see what type of homes are currently on the market and the prices. Auction sites provide a medium to determine market value of homes in the are that you are looking at. If traveling internationally and looking at homes in Drakensberg then be sure to look online for Drakensberg accommodation. The History and Growth of Rap Music

If you are a music enthusiast, then it is very likely that you have come across a genre of music called rap music. Rap music is area that has very clear distinguishing features most notably the rapid and rhythmic chanting of the lyrics perfectly timed to the beat and musical accompaniment that forms the base of the song. Rap music traces its roots to the development of the hiphop subculture which predominantly carries four complementary musical styles namely: rapping, dancing and in particular break dancing, scratching or more popularity known as DJing, and graffiti writing which others dub as vandalism. Another sub-element of this genre is beat-boxing which also features heavily in the repertoire of many rap artists. If you thought this was an easy musical genre to characterize, then you were poorly informed: consider, many research papers and doctoral dissertations have been written on the subject of rap music and its accompanying stylistic elements.

The history of rap music, or hip-hop music, is composed of a series of rapid development phases that have all culminated in the popular rap versions of today. Before rap music took off in the 1990s, it was predominantly referred to as disco rap in the late 1970s. The three rappers who had a hand in coining the term “rap music” were DJ Hollywood, Lovebug Starski, and Keith Cowboy, the last one being officially credited with the term hip-hop. Rap music original began with improvisations and freestyle singing to add an element of unpredictability to the songs in parties and other gatherings. Even in the 1960s to 1970s, the initial elements of rap music where already sown in urban subcultures particularly in New York City where adhoc performances in the streets led to a coalescing of influences in the wake of the Civil Rights era. Like the iPhone 5 release date, it had a slow and steady rise building into an explosion of creativity and style that has made it into what it has become today.

At this very early stage of rap development, it was particularly tied to emcee-ing more than it was associated to any specific song. It predominantly tied songs together as an adlib in between. It was born out of the creative inputs of DJs who had to work with self-imposed musical constraints such as the 4/4 time beat and sampling or sequencing sections of other songs to create a smooth flow of uninterrupted musical stimuli. These were eventually married with electronic equipment such as drums and synthesizers, and ultimate melodies to give it that bite and identity. In a sense, rap music artists were basically like a video game designer who had to figure out each artistic component at every turn until it developed into a more coherent musical genre that became the rap music we know today.

The first recorded version of rap music came alive in the early 1980s when DJs decided to make records out of their freestyle MCing. This necessitated the documentation of song lyrics so they do not change during each and every rendition. The age of the stromanbieter for rap music was gone paving the way for more organized chaos. Still, the freestyle and improvisation element remained a part of many DJ interludes as the song goes through certain sections that did not require too much rap singing.

Likewise, as a consequence of the hip-hop records, the influence of rap began to spread faster than ever before. Artists no longer had to travel far to get their music heard. Now, records from New York City and Philadelphia can be reproduced and transported to cities like Los Angeles, New Orleans, Dallas, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Seattle among others for people to appreciate and enjoy. This was primarily the reason for rap music’s rapid growth. Like Christmas mini lights, cities formed the nodes through which rap music would spread to other parts of the country. From small beginnings to grand achievements, the birth certificate translation to true stardom took a matter of years for rap music to be realized. Since then, its take-off and rise has been meteoric.

In this regard, it is almost impossible to talk about rap music but not discuss the golden age of rap. This was the era from the late 1980s to the mid 1990s when rap grew at an astounding rate fueled by the creative contributions of many artists from all over the continental United States and in many parts of the world. The primary trait of the Golden Age or Rap was that it was an almost unbroken wave of transformative music with every single pushing the boundaries of the genre. From this age and in the succeeding Gansta Rap age came names like Run-D.M.C., Dr. Dre, Ice T, MC Hammer, The Wu-tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, and The Notorious B.I.G. among others. The list of names can virtually fill a Sharepoint Hive without any problems.

According to social studies published in 2005, teenagers and children are more familiar with hip-hop and rap music more than any other musical genre. Up to 65% of all children from ages 8 to 18 hear hip-hop music on a daily basis, making it their routinary keratin hair treatment session, almost to the point that it has become an intrinsic part of their lives. With the diversification of the genre to include the more stylish R&B or rhythm and blues, it is not difficult to explain how rap music has continued to pervade radio station, TV and movie song line-ups. The marriage of rap and jazz which paved the way for R&B is itself a phenomenon that warrants all sorts of social analysis.

And with its very strong following, it is safe to say that rap music is here to stay. Years from now, when you open your TV on a bright Saturday morning, there’s a big chance you would be watching the next stage in the evolution of rap music, and there’s an even better chance you would be dancing or singing to that tune.
