the internet is a form of world wide communication combined with a vast amount of information, alot generally shit, but non the less information for all to read. i dont think i have ever paid for any of this information, porn included. i pay a service fee to a network provider much like i do with pretty much everything else in this world. internet aint shit compared to oil which since the days of Standard oil in the late 1870s, has been the no.1 perpetuator of capitalism via such means as globalization.
Internet also allows us to reach real unbiased news, which would other wise be completely blocked oit by mainstream networks.

YAWN, and oil had nothing to do with that NO? the ONLY reason UAE succeeded so well is becuase they did not fight off western companies and essentially privatized industries. Venezula has done MARVELOUS things by nationalizing their oil including paying off , a by and large, insurmountable size in debt to the IMF. Had the emirates chosen nationalization and to fight western powers, they would have been fucked royally. instead they got paid, only slightly compared to the western oil companies, and used this MINOR cut to build themselves a new land. as shown by chavez this would have been JUST as possible with socialism, where it not for western intervention ala Iraq and Iran.
